Tree Warranty Policy

At Family Tree Foundation, we take pride in the quality and care of our tree planting services. To ensure our customers' satisfaction and the health of the trees we plant, we offer the following warranty policy:

Warranty Coverage

We guarantee that all trees planted by the Family Tree Foundation will be healthy and free from defects when planting. We further guarantee that the trees will thrive for one growing season from planting, provided they are adequately cared for according to our care guidelines.

Warranty Terms

  1. Replacement Guarantee: If a tree planted by Family Tree Foundation dies within one growing season of the planting date, we will replace the tree free of charge, provided that:
    • The tree was planted by the Family Tree Foundation.
    • The tree was cared for according to our care guidelines.
    • If the above conditions are met, tree planting will be free of charge.

  Exclusions: This warranty does not cover trees that die due to:

  • Neglect or improper care (including lack of watering, improper pruning, or planting in unsuitable locations).
  • Damage caused by animals, pests, or diseases not present at the time of planting.
  • Extreme weather conditions such as drought, flood, or severe storms.
  • Vandalism, accidental damage, or other human activities.

Customer Responsibilities

To ensure the health and longevity of your newly planted tree, please follow these care guidelines:

  • Watering: Water the tree regularly, especially during dry periods, ensuring the soil remains moist but not waterlogged.
  • When planted, natural mulch will be spread around the tree's base. This mulch must remain in place for one growing season to stay within warranty guidelines.
  • Protection: Protect the tree from pests and physical damage.
  • Family Tree Foundation is always available 24/7 via email to answer any tree health questions.

Claim Process

If you believe your tree is covered under this warranty, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Family Tree Foundation within one growing season of the planting date
  2. Provide proof of purchase and documentation of the tree's care.
  3. Arrange for an inspection by a Family Tree Foundation representative.

Upon verification of the claim, we will schedule the tree replacement. Family Tree Foundation will do the replacement at no cost.
